The journey of Ola began with Christina – a Vietnamese born in Vietnam but raised in Hawaii. With deep-rooted traditions connecting nature and people, Hawaiians embrace warmth, love, openness, determination, and pride in their homeland. And that's why Christina's bond with her heritage remains strong throughout her journey.

Coming back to Vietnam is like coming home, Vietnam is Ola Hale founder's Motherland. And that's why this restaurant was called Ola Hale, which means a "well-being home" in Hawaiian. To celebrate both culture and pay a tribute to the beauty of nature, Ola Hale represents a space that shares the warmth, the hospitality, and spirit of "ohana" to guests in Vietnam.

Ola Hale's building used to be a modern-style house in Saigon in the 90s, during it's long life, the remaining value is immeasurable. To honor its history, the owner decided to retain as much of the old house as possible, while creating new spaces and adding details that celebrate Vietnam as well as evoke the essence of Hawaii. Ola Hale hopes that all its valued guests can feel the blended breaths of the past and present, as well as the vibrant Vietnamese and Hawaiian culture in its home.
With the concepts of "Hale" meaning Home and "Ohana" meaning family, Ola Hale Restaurant & Bar boasts a four-story design, offering a diverse and emotionally rich experience, mirroring Hawaii's waves that grow wilder and higher as the night depends. Each floor carries a distinct character. At the ground floor entrance of Ola Hale, you can enjoy a refreshing cup of Hawaiian Plantation tea – reminiscent of how Vietnamese people often welcome guests into their homes while immersing in a garden full of activities for families and children. The second floor is a dining-focused space, suitable for organizing parties or gatherings for families and businesses. A perfectly mixed cocktail in the refreshing evening air, on the third floor is an excellent choice for people from all ages to enjoy Happy Hour together after a long day. As the city gradually transitions into the night, the Rooftop – a private space reserved for intimate gatherings with your special ones – lit by candles, accompanied by sweet cocktails and romantic melodies, creates for shared moments and lingering memories.
